The Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor on Media, Success Ossai, explained his decision to offer Comfort Emmason a monthly salary of ₦500,000.

Ossai announced this offer in an Instagram post on Wednesday, following Emmason’s release from prison. He detailed that, in addition to the salary, the package includes flight tickets, accommodation in a five-star hotel, a guided tour, and a ticket to the Delta Social Media Summit scheduled for August 28 in Asaba.

In an interview with The PUNCH, Ossai clarified that this gesture was a personal initiative and not sourced from the state government.

He addressed rumors regarding potential romantic interests, stating, “I’m a married man and a faithful person. I would never involve myself in such things. I am merely offering harmless assistance to her.”

He emphasized that his offer was made because Emmason has shown remorse for her actions, saying, “Whatever happened has happened. She went to Kirikiri prison and has now returned. It’s time to support her.”

Ossai also dismissed concerns that his financial assistance might encourage unruly behavior among air passengers. He further explained why he extended the offer to someone not originally from Delta State, stating.

The controversial cleric and senior pastor of Power City International, Dr. Abel Damina, recently sparked a range of reactions with his latest video, where he discussed Jehovah Witnesses’ prophecies and false positions on the deity of Jesus.

During a Facebook teaching session, Dr. Damina cited references from the Jehovah’s Witnesses’ Bible.

His word: “I have engaged a number of them on the issue that has to do with prophecies with Jehovah Witness and their false position on the deity of Jesus.

“The Jehovah Witness claim that Jesus is not God and today we want to clinically examine them.

“Their prophecies, that’s where we’re starting from and from their bible, we’re going to see from the world translation watchtower translation of the Bible how that Jesus is properly communicated to be God”
