The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has released his 2026 prophecies on Saturday, 20th of December, 2025.

In the presence of several media practitioners, Primate Ayodele released the 146-page prophecies for the coming year containing warnings for Nigerian leaders, Nigeria, the African continent and global leaders.

The prophet noted that the compilation of the prophecies started months ago through revelations from God.

Among the prophecies, here are some highlights:

1. Some of the Northern Elders will be against Tinubu. Tinubu needs to work on the South East and the North Central. North East and the core North. Most of the Elder statesmen that Tinubu wants to trust will betray him. Some of the former Tinubu Aides will work for the Opposition. The opposition will launch a direct blackmailing propaganda against the Tinubu government.

2. Atiku must get prepared because they want to blackmail him.

3.The two leading Political Parties will rig as they will buy votes and steal votes

4. The EFCC will expose a lot of politicians .They will gang up against the Chairman of the EFCC.

5. Some banks names and Directors will change even as the CBN Governor will mourn.

6. Some African countries will produce nuclear weapons and some Asian countries.

7.The USA will remove some Presidents in the world.

8. Let us pray not to lose personalities in a plane crash.

9. I foresee disunity and betrayal in Nigeria security.

10. They will set Northerners to be stoning APC vehicles and demolish their bill-boards.

11. I foresee hate and hardship protest against Tinubu government and I foresee the protest of nemesis.

12. Some honourable members of the House of Representatives, States Assembly, Governors, Senators, Ministers’ convoy will be attacked.

13. Bullying, stoning and stealing will be rampant because of hardship and government policies.

14. I foresee moles among the opposition. Oppositions are desperate because they want power but some of them are not ready to serve.

15. The more Tinubu is pacifying the Northerners, the more some people will be destroying his efforts among the Alpha and Omega aides.Tinubu should act fast if he wants to win by January ending. The Northerners will conclude either to vote APC or ADC.

16. Dubai: There will be natural disaster in Dubai.

17. Telecommunication tariff will change. 9mobile mast will be attacked or set on fire. MTN will have network problems. Their equipment will shut-down. New telecommunication company services will be in operation. Glo will have troubles with the government even as Glo cables will be stolen. Airtel will sack some of their workers

18. Kidnapping and terrorism will take new dimension.

19. Let us pray for all the Vice-Chancellors for them, I foresee crisis, Professors and students will be kidnapped.

20. Ukrainian president will be disappointed.

21. The Labour party will fizzle out.

22. Tinubu and Dangote will fight.

23. Election date will be changed to be behind schedule.

24. There will be creation of state police.

25. New states will be actualized.

26. Nigeria will lose a boxer and a footballer.

27. Nigeria military will be ambushed in March, April, May and June and a high-ranking officer.

28. INEC officials will be attacked even as the INEC chairman needs to watch his health.

29. Some senators will disagree with the senate president. The senate president should watch his health and be careful.

30. There will be gas explosion and fire outbreaks. Let us be careful of explosive devices. There will be fire outbreak.

31.The Tinubu tax reforms is good but people will mis-understand it.

32. Tinubu must not take traditional titles. It will ruin his chances, likewise he must warn his family as they must stop taking traditional titles.

33. UBA, Zenith, Fidelity, Premium tag must be careful because of CBN compliances.

34. There will be political crisis in UK that will work against Prime Minister.

35. There will be a military plane crash, plane landing crash in the world and emergency landing, a plane running off in the way or skid off in Nigeria.

35. Tinubu’s government should intervene into Bua oil refinery, this can bring petrol down to

₦550 before the end of the year 2026.

36. Top government official will be indicted.

37. The following state governors should pray for their movement, pray against attack and for safety: Niger, Bauchi, Yobe, Plateau, Katsina, Benue, Borno and Katsina.

38. Tinubu will relieve some of his ministers.

39. Tinubu should pray not to lose any of his aides.

40. Some of the Nollywood artist secrets will be exposed.

41. Amaechi and Obi will fight dirty because of presidency slot.

42. Russia, EU, US, NATO will have problems.

43. NATO and EU will fight Russia.

44. 10 African president must pray for their countries and themselves; Cameroun, Ivory Coast,

South-Sudan, Benin Republic, Uganda, Gabon, South-Africa, Mali, Equitorial Guinea,

Guinea Bissau.

45. America will fight quite a lot of Africa countries and will support in imposing government.

46. Nigeria and France ties will cause Nigeria what Nigeria does not want. France will take over the sovereignty of Nigeria.

47. Not all the Tinubu minister who contest for the office of governor will win. Some will be extra-ordinarily disgraced and sent into political oblivion.

48. There will be new electricity distribution companies.

49. Some fraudulent companies in the power sector will be exposed.

50. The death of a prominent Nollywood star is eminent.

51. Oba Fredrick Obateru Akinruntan should pray for his health.

52. The Olowo of Owo kingdom should watch his palace against fire outbreak. Not to lose any

of his prominent chiefs in the palace.

53. Let us pray so that online publishers, radio presenters, television newscasters will not die.

54. I foresee a prominent Pastor and a prominent Musician will pass away.

55. Federal government will deal with governors who are playing with direct local government

allocation from the federation account.

56. There will be ethnicity and religious crisis in Nigeria.

57. I foresee Turji Bello leader of the bandits will be arrested or killed.

58. Nigeria should pray for a former Vice president not to pass away.

59. There will be jail break in Nigeria.

60. Nnamdi Kanu should watch his health.

Nigerian Gov Announces Fresh Public Holiday for Workers Across State

The Ekiti State Government has declared Friday, June 19, 2026, a work-free day for public servants in the state.

Naija News reports that the government said the holiday was to enable workers to travel to their respective voting centres ahead of the governorship election scheduled for Saturday, June 20.

This was contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the Permanent Secretary to the Head of Service, Janet Ajibola.

“His Excellency, the Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, has graciously declared Friday, 19th June, 2026, as a work-free day for all public servants across the state,” the statement read.

Ajibola said the directive was addressed to commissioners, special advisers, the Secretary to the State Government, permanent secretaries, the Clerk of the House, heads of tertiary institutions, the Registrar of the High Court of Justice, general managers, executive secretaries and heads of departments.

“For the purpose of public safety and continuity of essential services, hospitals and health centres, fire service departments and other essential service providers are exempted and shall continue to provide appropriate services,” the statement added.

The Permanent Secretary urged heads of exempted essential institutions to ensure uninterrupted service delivery during the election period.

She also directed chief executive officers and accounting officers across state parastatals to ensure compliance and wide circulation of the directive.

BREAKING: Mixed Reactions as Tinubu Announces Fresh Appointment

The news of Kunle Elebute by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the chair of the Governing Board of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN). has started generating reactions from Nigerians.

Kunle Elebute, a renowned chartered accountant and financial management consultant, as the chair of the Governing Board of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN).

This was disclosed in a statement by the presidency on Thursday, June 18, adding that his appointment, adding that his appointment was meant to strengthen corporate governance, deepen accountability and transparency, as well as enhance the confidence of investors within the financial reporting ecosystem of Nigeria.

According to The Punch, Elebute is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) with over 40 years of professional experience in Nigeria, West Africa and the world at large. Elebute had earlier served as the senior partner and chief executive officer of KPMG Nigeria, the KPMG West Africa chairman and the chairman of KPMG Africa.

Also, he had served on the regional and global boards of KPMG, such as its Global Board Audit Committee.

In the statement, he was described as a highly respected professional with wide experience in financial advisory services, auditing, strategic transformation, risk consulting and corporate governance.

Below are some of their comments: 

Segun Benson said the appointment should have gone to another qualified person in another region of the country:  “I would have expected Mr President to appoint a qualified person from another region.. no shades.”

Dimeji Lawal said that Nigerians are on the lookout for the effect of the appointment: “The appointment is one thing. The impact of the appointment is what Nigerians will be watching.”

Danjuma claimed that Tinubu’s appointments are following a particular pattern of the late former president Muhammadu Buhari: “I like Tinubu for this, he is following the footsteps of Buhari, who fulanised Nigeria with his appointments.”

Shamsuddeen commended the appointment of Elebute by President Tinubu, describing it as wonderful: “That’s another wonderful selection by President Tinubu GCFR by appointing Mr Elebute. Congratulations sir.”
