No Second Wife: Kwam 1 Says Titi Marshall Is “Gone Forever”
“What is ahead of me is more than just marriage, marriage, marriage!”
Nigerian Fuji maestro, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as Kwam 1, has addressed growing speculations surrounding his marital status.
PREMIUM TIMES gathered that reports emerged claiming the 68-year-old singer’s estranged wife, Fathia ‘Titi Marshal’ Titilola, had returned to his life and allegedly forced Aderopo Emmanuella out of his home.
The rumours surfaced five months after Kwam 1 reunited with Titi Marshal during his mother’s burial, Halima Anifowoshe, in Ijebu, Ogun State, in January.
Kwam 1 married Titi Marshal at his Ijebu residence in March 2018. He married Emmanuella on 18 November 2021 in a lavish ceremony at the Palace of the Alake of Egbaland, Ake, Abeokuta.
However, the singer dismissed the claims in an interview with journalist Stella Dimoko-Korkus.
He said: “She (Emmanuella) is the only one. I told her, ‘Leave social media, concentrate on your business and let me concentrate; in the end, the joy will be for us.’ I guess maybe she didn’t like it that way. She has every right to her reaction. Unfortunately, I am not getting younger anymore. I am 68 already. Do I need to fool myself?
“Titi Marshall is gone forever, but because she is gone, should I shut my eyes out on the three children she gave birth to for me? I didn’t do anything; I only concentrated on my project. Emmanuella brought this upon herself because I don’t know what she is doing on social media. You are not young anymore, you have two grown-ups at the university, and the third one is about to join them. So, these are the issues we must ponder, not social media things.”
No new wife
Additionally, he dismissed speculation that he had taken a new wife following Titi Marshal’s departure.
Kwam 1 described the claim that a woman seen dancing to his song in a viral video was his new wife as false and misleading.
The Fuji legend, who said he couldn’t imagine how embarrassed the lady must have felt, added, “Must I marry everyone? The lady is not my wife, and I have not married a new wife. That is it. Stella, I don’t have anything to add. I am into farming; I have farms, which take up my time. I don’t have time for social media squabbling regarding women or something. No, I can’t lie to you. And I promise you I will not speak to anyone else about this.
“I don’t have any intentions. What is ahead of me is more than marriage, marriage, marriage! I will send you some of the projects I am doing here. They are huge and take up 90 per cent of my funds. I am now into big business, aside from music. I am getting old. 68? So you can’t say you will be there forever. Don’t you consider what I am saying?”

From Stage To Style: Davido Sets The Standard In Royal Blue
Whoever put this look together deserves their flowers because everything works. The colours, the textures, the accessories… nothing feels out of place. While you are counting down to the release of Davido’s upcoming album, Oriade, and still have his latest single, “Gimme Dat Ting,” on repeat, the Afrobeats star has given us something else to talk about: a traditional look that’s every bit as memorable as the songs making the rounds.
Rather than reaching for the contemporary tailoring and luxury labels he’s often seen in, Davido leaned into a classic South-South-inspired look with thoughtful details that made it unmistakably his own. The outfit centres on a rich royal blue velvet tunic with three-quarter sleeves, a neat button placket and a chest pocket finished with geometric stitching. Wrapped beneath it is a matching silk-finish wrapper, finished with a wide gold embroidered border that creates a beautiful contrast against the deep velvet texture above. It is a colour pairing that has been around for years, but this interpretation gives it a fresh perspective.
Nigerian musician Davido styled in a royal blue velvet tunic paired with a silk-finish wrapper featuring gold metallic border embroidery and an embroidered OBO cap.
The details tie everything together beautifully. His matching royal blue cap is customised with gold star motifs and his “OBO” initials stitched neatly at the side, adding a personal touch without taking over the look. A polished silver watch, simple wrist chains and dark velvet shoes complete the styling, allowing the blue-and-gold palette to remain the focus from head to toe.
What makes this outfit especially appealing is its restraint. Nothing feels excessive, yet every piece has its place. The clean tailoring, rich fabrics and carefully chosen finishing touches come together in a way that feels polished without losing the character of traditional menswear. Whether you’re dressing for your wedding, attending one as a guest or planning your next owambe appearance, there’s plenty here to bookmark before your next trip to the tailor.

The launch is expected to set the tone for the season, with the contestants entering Biggie’s house and beginning their journey towards the final.

Popular media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, will once again take charge of the show as host.

The housemates, selected through the audition process, are expected to come from different backgrounds, professions and parts of the country.

For many of them, the show could also become a major turning point in their personal and professional lives.

Every season, fans take to social media platforms to support their favourite housemates, analyse strategies, debate relationships and react to controversial moments.

Season 11 is expected to generate another wave of online conversations in Nigeria and among viewers across Africa.
8. BBNaija Season 11 Expectations
Naija News understands that the new season comes with high expectations, particularly because of the record ₦160m prize.
The combination of a huge reward, a new set of housemates and promises of unexpected twists is likely to make the competition intense from the beginning.
For the contestants, however, the challenge will go beyond winning the prize money.
They will have to navigate friendships, rivalries, nominations and public opinion while trying to remain relevant enough to earn the votes of millions of viewers.
Since its return in 2017, BBNaija has ‘helped launch the careers of several former housemates.
Winners and popular contestants from previous seasons, including Efe, Miracle, Mercy Eke, Laycon, Whitemoney, Phyna, Ilebaye, KellyRae and Season 10 winner Imisi, have remained in the public spotlight in different ways.
Some former housemates have gone on to establish careers in music, acting, entertainment, business, fashion and social media influencing.
This has made the show attractive to young Nigerians who see it as more than just a television competition.
As BBNaija Season 11 prepares to open its doors, attention is already turning to the personalities who will become the talking points of the next 10 weeks.
Some housemates may find love, others may build lifelong friendships, while a few could emerge as major entertainment stars.
With a record prize at stake and millions of viewers expected to follow the action, the big question is now simple: Who will win the hearts of Nigerians, survive Biggie’s house and ultimately walk away with the ₦160 million prize?
The answer will begin to unfold when the cameras go live on Sunday, July 26.

Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has said a woman’s financial stability does not matter to him because he is already rich.
Naija News reports that Ruger, speaking during a recent livestream with streamer Shank, said he has dated ladies who were not only unemployed but lazy.
Speaking on his ideal woman, Ruger said the person must be “someone who is funny.”
He said, “A woman’s financial status doesn’t matter to me. I am rich. I have dated girls who didn’t make money before. They just sleep and wake up.”
Ruger added he is looking forward to settling down soon.
He said, “I keep ordering takeouts because there is no one at home to cook for me. That’s one of the reasons I want to settle down.”
Meanwhile, Ruger recently expressed pain about missing an opportunity to feature in one of Nollywood actress cum producer, Funke Akindele’s blockbusters a few years ago.
Ruger recalled the missed opportunity during an interview with Nigerian media personality, VJ Adams.
According to Ruger, Funke often vibes to his songs, and he had wanted to message her on social media to appreciate her, but found out that she had previously messaged him asking if he was interested in featuring in one of her movies, but he did not see the message until it was too late.
The singer said he was so sad after seeing the message, stressing that it still hurts him.
