JUST IN: Trump Designates Nigeria ‘Country of Concern’ Over Reports Of Christian Genocide

Trump Faces Hardest Iran Decision

The President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, has ordered an urgent investigation into what he described as “reports of Christian genocide” in Nigeria.

In a statement released on his Truth Social account on Friday evening, President Trump expressed deep concern over what he termed the “mass slaughter” of Christians by radical Islamist groups in the country.

He announced that Nigeria had been designated a “Country of Particular Concern” — a classification that signals grave violations of religious freedom.

“Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria. Thousands of Christians are being killed. Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter,” Trump said in the statement.

“When Christians, or any such group, are slaughtered like is happening in Nigeria — 3,100 versus 4,476 worldwide — something must be done! I am asking Congressman Riley Moore, together with Chairman Tom Cole and the House Appropriations Committee, to immediately look into this matter and report back to me,” he added.

The U.S. President stressed that Washington would not remain silent in the face of ongoing violence against Christian communities in Nigeria and other parts of the world.

“The United States cannot stand by while such atrocities are happening in Nigeria and numerous other countries. We stand ready, willing, and able to save our great Christian population around the world,” the statement concluded.

Trump’s comments have drawn widespread attention globally, with analysts noting that his move could reignite international scrutiny on Nigeria’s security situation, especially the recurring attacks attributed to extremist groups and bandits in the country’s northern and central regions.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has spoken about the year 2026 in a way that suggested it would carry unusual significance

He hinted at a turning point that believers should pay close attention to, describing it as the beginning of something important

His words pointed towards changes that would demand greater awareness and action, leaving many eager to hear more

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has spoken about the year 2026, describing it as a time that would mark the beginning of what he called a “countdown.” He explained that the year would be significant for believers, urging them to pay attention to the direction in which the world was heading.

In his prophecy, he said: “In 2026, you start what I call the countdown. 2026 is the year that begins with a countdown. It is important that God’s people realise where our world is going and what is going to be happening from 2026.”

Prayer in 2026 prophecy:

The pastor emphasised that prayer would play a central role in the year ahead. He noted that people would find themselves praying more than ever before, whether by personal choice or due to circumstances.

He stated: “There are many things that you are going to be doing in 2026 more than you have ever did before. I see a prophecy that you are going to be praying more than you have ever did before either by choice or by circumstance.”

Choice through prayer in 2026

Pastor Chris also mentioned that prayer would not only be an activity but a means of shaping situations. He explained that individuals would have the opportunity to choose their circumstances through prayer.

He added: “What I also saw that you have a choice to choose your situation in 2026 with prayer.”

This prophecy has drawn attention among his followers, as it pointed to two key themes for 2026: the start of a countdown and the importance of prayer as both a necessity and a choice.

KWAM 1’s Dream To Become Awujale Faces First Big Hurdle As Ijebu Ruling House Issues Crucial Demand

Published

on

The Fusengbuwa ruling house stated that every aspirant to the Awujale throne must prove seven generations of royal lineage

KWAM 1’s application received a special extension as the family insists on strict verification

Royal insiders outlined the timeline for selecting the next Awujale, with January 2026 set as the decisive month

Fuji legend Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as KWAM 1, has officially entered the race for one of Nigeria’s most revered traditional stools, the Awujale of Ijebuland.

But before his name can move forward, the Ijebu-Ode royal family has handed him a critical task.

In a letter dated December 3, 2025, the musician announced his interest in the Awujale throne, describing himself as a “bonafide son” of the Fusengbuwa ruling house.

The letter circulated widely online, placing the music icon at the center of a major cultural conversation.

But for the ruling house, interest alone is not enough.

The family’s chairman, Abdulateef Owoyemi, told The PUNCH that every aspirant must complete a detailed royal lineage data form, a document that traces ancestry up to seven generations. And KWAM 1 is no exception.

Why the lineage form matters KWAM 1

Owoyemi explained that the form is the foundation of the entire selection process. According to him, the ruling house is determined to prevent “strangers” from laying claim to the ancient throne.

He explained: “The first step is to declare your lineage. Your parents, grandparents, and those before them must be traced. Only genuine members of Fusengbuwa will be allowed.”

The form must be submitted to the head of the ruling house unit, who will verify the family’s authenticity before any other step can proceed.

A special extension for KWAM 1

While the window for applications closed on December 5, the ruling house revealed that KWAM 1 has been granted a five-day extension, which expires on December 10. Owoyemi stressed that the family would not shut anyone out, but every right comes with responsibility.

He stated: “We welcome men of influence who will strengthen the stool. But they must first prove they truly belong.”

The royal process is already on a tight schedule. The local government has given the Fusengbuwa house 14 days, ending December 18, to present candidates to the kingmakers.

Those kingmakers then have seven days to select one name, which will be forwarded to the Ogun State governor.

From there, a 21-day government review begins, including background checks, objection periods, and security clearance.

SHOCKER! Nigerian Prophet Mentions Powerful People Behind Terrorism

Published

on

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has identified five influential individuals he claims are behind the ongoing terrorism in Nigeria.

In a statement released by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Ayodele emphasized that unless these individuals are addressed, the country will remain vulnerable to terrorist activities.

Tinubu Chairs ECOWAS 67th Session

He urged the government to take decisive action to combat insecurity, noting that those responsible for the turmoil are not showing signs of retreat.

“Five people are involved in this kidnapping matter that the government must try to identify and take out of the way; otherwise, the nation will continue to be at the mercy of terrorism. If the government isn’t proactive enough, it will continue to hit the nation badly because they are not slowing down.”

The cleric also urged the president not to encourage negotiation with terrorists, no matter the situation. He called on Tinubu to call Gumi and others clamouring for negotiation to order because they are encouraging insecurity.

“Tinubu needs to call people who encourage negotiation to order. People like Gumi shouldn’t be allowed to represent the government for any reason.

“The more we negotiate, the more terrorism increases, and Tinubu is the one who has everything to lose in this matter. If he isn’t careful, they will continue to use insecurity against him.”

He further explained that negotiation has turned terrorism into a big business in the country, revealing that there is international influence in it, and except the president works really hard, he will not be able to end it.

“Negotiation has turned terrorism into a big business centre and despite all, there are international bodies influencing terrorism in Nigeria. If you don’t do what is needful, terrorism will fight your government; it’s not going to affect poor people alone, the rich will also cry,” he added.
