I Have A Roof Over My Head, The Next Is Divorce’ – Regina Daniels
Popular Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has sparked speculation of an impending divorce from her billionaire husband, Prince Ned Nwoko, following a series of cryptic social media posts amid reports of a deepening marital crisis.
The actress set social media abuzz on Friday after sharing a picture of her new house on Instagram with a caption that read, “I have a roof over my head and the next is divorce.”
Daniels’ statement comes just days after videos surfaced online showing alleged domestic altercations between the couple, claims which Nwoko has publicly denied.
Meanwhile, Ned Nwoko, who has four wives, including Regina Daniels, appeared unbothered by the swirling controversy surrounding their relationship.
During a recent interview on Channels Television on Sunday, October 26, 2025, the politician defended his polygamous lifestyle, describing it as more “balanced” than monogamy.
Speaking on how he manages four wives, the lawmaker compared it to standing on multiple legs, saying that having more than one wife provides better support and stability in life.
He also stated that he feels pity for men who have only one wife, describing such situations as challenging to maintain.
When questioned about the religious aspect of his belief, Nwoko maintained that the Old Testament permits polygamy and said that his decision was based on personal conviction.
He added that he has no regrets about his marital choices and would take the same path again if given the chance.

Afrobeats Star Fola Apologises After First Headline Show Ends Abruptly
2025 Afrobeats breakout singer, Folarin Odunlami, with the stage name, Fola, has apologised to fans following the abrupt end of his first headline performance at the Mainland Block Party, which was halted over safety concerns after the venue reportedly exceeded its capacity.
The event, held on Monday, December 15, at the Balmoral Event Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, was disrupted after a large influx of fans led to overcrowding, rowdiness and reported safety breaches.
Attendance was said to have surpassed the venue’s approved capacity, prompting organisers to stop the show.
Several fans at the venue complained of poor coordination, with some ticket holders saying they were unable to gain access despite purchasing tickets sold in batches by the organisers.
Fola, who performed briefly before leaving the stage, later addressed the situation in an apology message shared on his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Tuesday.
He explained that the decision to stop the performance was taken in the interest of safety.
“My people, I’m really sorry about how last night went,” the singer said, acknowledging the disappointment experienced by fans.
He added that reports of injuries were particularly troubling and should never have occurred at a live event.
“People were hurt and that should never happen. I had to stop the show because safety comes before anything else,” he said.
The singer further assured fans that their concerns had been noted and that steps were being taken to address the situation.
“I hear you on all fronts, and we’re working to make things right,” he added.
The concert, which was highly anticipated by fans of the 2025 Afrobeats breakout star known for songs such as Lost and Bye Bye, triggered backlash on social media, with criticism directed at both the artiste and the organisers over what many described as inadequate planning and poor crowd control.
In a separate statement on X (Formerly Twitter), Dangbana Republik, the record label Fola is signed to, acknowledged the lapses that led to the disruption and reiterated its commitment to fan safety.
“We acknowledge the serious safety issues that occurred at the event organised by Mainland Block Party,” the label said.
It noted that the venue’s capacity was exceeded, creating conditions it described as unsafe and unacceptable.
“The venue capacity was exceeded, resulting in unsafe conditions that should never have happened,” the statement said.
The label added that the performance was halted as soon as it became clear that fans were at risk, stressing that discussions were ongoing with the organisers.
“Once it became clear that fans were at risk, the performance was stopped immediately. We are working with the organisers to ensure adequate measures are taken to address the concerns of those affected. Your safety remains non-negotiable to us,” it added.
As of the time of filing this report, the organisers of the Mainland Block Party had yet to issue a separate statement addressing the incident.

Bigiano Claims Authorship Of Davido’s Hit Song Dami Duro
Nigerian singer, Bigiano, has claimed that he wrote the hit song Dami Duro for fellow artiste, Davido, saying he was responsible for the hook of the popular track.
Daily voice reports that the Shayo crooner claimed during a recent interview with content creator, Akin Abolade, where he spoke about his career, his break from music, and his contribution to one of Davido’s biggest early hits.
According to Bigiano, his input played a key role in the success of the song, which was released in 2011 and helped launch Davido into mainstream fame.
“I wrote Dami Duro for Davido. I wrote the hook,” he said during the interview.
Despite the claim, Bigiano is not officially credited as a co-writer on the song.
Dami Duro remains one of Davido’s most defining songs, shooting the singer to fame shortly after its release.
Over the years, the track has been listed among the “greatest Afrobeats songs of all time” by several local and international music enthusiasts, cementing its place in Nigeria’s music history.
Explaining his long absence from the music scene, Bigiano said his break was deliberate and strategic, describing it as a necessary pause ahead of a bigger comeback.
“Sometimes, you have to take a break to be able to come back again. I went on a sabbatical to make my return to music massive,” he said.
The singer also dismissed speculations that his absence from the spotlight was due to financial struggles, insisting that he remains financially stable.
“I can’t be broke,” Bigiano added.
However, Davido has not reacted publicly to Bigiano’s claim of co-writing the hook of Dami Duro, as of the time of filing this report.
Daily voice reports that ‘Dami Duro’ remains a major milestone in Davido’s music career.

Why We Didn’t Do Our Court Wedding In Nigeria – Temi Otedola
Billionaire’s daughter Temi Otedola and singer Mr Eazi have shared details about the pressure and disagreements they faced while planning their weddings, revealing why they decided against having their court wedding in Nigeria.
Daily voice reports that the couple in a podcast explained that they organised three weddings in three different countries within a space of three months, a process they described as very stressful.
With events coming one after another, the planning became overwhelming and demanded more effort than they had expected.
Temi disclosed that their first plan was to have a simple court wedding in Nigeria.
However, they soon realised that privacy would be difficult to achieve, as such an event could easily attract attention and public interest.
This concern made them reconsider their choice.
They then explored the idea of having court officials conduct the civil ceremony privately in their living room.
While Temi found the idea appealing, Mr Eazi was not fully comfortable with it.
This difference in opinion led them to review other options, including having the court wedding in the United Kingdom, but Temi felt it lacked a personal connection for her.
After much thought, the couple agreed on Monaco for their civil wedding, a location Temi said felt more meaningful to them.
She also admitted that she initially believed marriage was simply about making a decision and signing documents, but later discovered that the process involved a lot of paperwork and coordination.
The couple held a private wedding ceremony at Hallgrimskirkja Church in Reykjavik, Iceland.
She said: “Three weddings in three months is insane. If we went to the courthouse in Nigeria, it wouldn’t be as private as we wanted.
“I thought getting married was just deciding and signing papers. I didn’t know there was a mountain of administration.”
