I’m Married But Not In My Husband’s House – Singer Shola Allyson Reveals
Famous Nigerian gospel artiste, Sola Allyson, has disclosed that she’s not living with her husband.
The musician made this known in her latest interview on Oyinmomo TV.
While speaking about her love life, the 54-year-old who came into limelight with a love album ‘Eji Owuro’, revealed that she is married but not living with her husband.
Sharing her marital experience, the singer said she has never enjoyed the kind of happiness many people describe.
“I’m married, but I’m not in my husband’s house. We live separately.”
The interviewer asked: “You sang ‘Eji Owuro’, did you experience genuine love from your husband?
She replied, “We lied before. Those older than us didn’t inform us that it’s tough. They made us believe that so long as you both love each other, you will live happily ever after, but it’s a lie. That’s not the experience I have. I didn’t have the experience of living happily ever after. I did all I could to make it work.”

Reality TV star Mercy Eke has opened up about why she decided to undergo a Brazilian Butt Lift procedure, stating that the decision was influenced by trends at the time and pressure from those around her.
Naija News reports that she shared the experience during an interview with Korty EO, where she revealed that she did not inform her mother before going ahead with the surgery because she expected strong disapproval.
According to her account, the recovery period after the procedure was very difficult.
The Big Brother Naija Season 4 winner noted that the first few days were extremely painful, especially the initial three days, and that patients are unable to sit or sleep on their backs for about two weeks while healing.
Despite the discomfort she went through during recovery, she said she is now satisfied with the outcome and feels comfortable with her body after the procedure.
Eke said, “I got a BBL because it was trending and there was a lot of peer pressure. I didn’t tell my mum because I knew she would discourage me. You can’t sleep on your bum for 14 days, and you’ll cry for the first 3 days from the pain… but look, it’s soft now.”

Nigerian comedian Sabinus has shared a message urging people to maintain good personal hygiene before attending night parties.
Naija News reports that in a post on his Instagram Story, the skit maker appealed to partygoers to take a bath before leaving for clubs or other nighttime events.
He repeatedly stressed the need for proper bathing, using his usual comic style to pass the message.
Sabinus also advised people to brush their teeth before heading out at night, saying they should not rely on the same oral hygiene routine they did in the morning before spending long hours at parties.
He wrote: “Before going to party at night please bath please bath please bath please bath please bath chai. Please brush your mouth brush your mouth before shouting Ayebo Ayeba please. You can’t use the mouth you brushed since morning to club.”

Nollywood actor Deyemi Okanlawon has revealed that he quit acting in 2019 because he was dissatisfied with the remuneration and no longer found the work fulfilling.
The actor made the disclosure during a recent episode of the CreativiTea podcast, which began trending on Wednesday.
Speaking about his career, Okanlawon said he decided to leave the movie industry after becoming frustrated with the quality of work and the financial rewards.
According to him, he did not leave a corporate career only to settle for what he described as mediocre work.
“So, I quit acting in 2019. I quit because the pay was nonsense, the work was nonsense. And I just felt like I didn’t leave 9-to-5 work to come and do mediocre work,” he said.
The actor added that the lack of fulfilment made it difficult for him to remain motivated.
“It was difficult to wake up in the morning and go to work, and what is the point of being passionate about something and then not being fulfilled by it? So I quit and then went back to 9-to-5 work,” he said.
