Toyin Abraham Addresses Feud With Funke Akindele
Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has spoken again about her past rift with fellow actress Funke Akindele, a situation that once stirred reactions in the film industry.
Naija News reports that she recalled that the issue started after an incident at a movie premiere, which at the time made her take a strong position about their relationship.
However, she has now said she is no longer interested in keeping the matter alive and would rather move on completely.
During an interview on the Morayo Afolabi Brown Show, she reflected on how public reactions and online comments have changed the way she handles criticism.
The thespian explained that she has become used to negative remarks and they no longer affect her deeply.
She also made it clear that when she responds to online critics now, it is usually not out of anger but in a light and playful manner, as she no longer allows such comments to get under her skin.
On the issue involving Funke Akindele, she avoided going into details and maintained that she prefers not to revisit events from the past.
Abraham said: “There is nothing anyone would say that will get to me anymore. If I respond to you, it’s because I am just having fun with you. I want to play with you. I don’t want to talk about it because I don’t like talking about my past with Funke Akindele. I don’t like it when they pitch me with anyone. I just want to be me, Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi.”
