Big Brother Naija ‘Show Ya Sef’ housemate, Victor Ikpe, popularly known as Keivo, has been disqualified from the reality television show after getting into a physical fight with fellow housemate, Tram.

Naija News reports that the disqualification was announced by Big Brother on Tuesday after the housemates were called to the lounge to watch footage of the incident.

The clips showed the confrontation between Keivo and Tram, after which Big Brother informed the housemates that Keivo had been removed from the competition.

Big Brother identified Keivo as the person who initiated the physical attack and ruled that he could no longer continue in the reality show.

He said: “Keivo, as the perpetrator, has been removed from the house. He is therefore disqualified from the house. Violence is never an option.”

The announcement came shortly after Keivo’s name disappeared from the official voting platform.

The incident happened on Monday during the final week of the show after Tram accused Keivo of taking a black shirt that belonged to him.

Keivo denied taking Tram’s shirt, explaining that he had a similar shirt and objected to being accused of stealing.

The disagreement later became heated before Keivo punched Tram.

Other housemates moved in to stop the fight, but the situation had already attracted Big Brother’s attention.

Big Brother then instructed the housemates to remain still while three ninjas entered the house and took Keivo out through the storeroom.

Before leaving, Keivo became emotional while discussing the incident.

He explained that his reaction was linked to the accusation against him and not only the disagreement over the shirt.

Keivo also expressed concern that his actions could cause viewers to see him as a thief.

He told Big Brother that he did not want the incident to become the main thing people remembered about him from his time on the show.

The disqualification comes just days before the grand finale, which is scheduled to hold on October 4.

The eventual winner of the season is expected to take home a ₦160 million grand prize.

The singer made this known while speaking on the 90s Baby Podcast, where he explained that he often learns about price increases from his staff rather than through personal shopping.

Adekunle Gold said he does not usually visit supermarkets or personally handle the purchase of household food items, making it difficult for him to immediately notice changes in prices.

He explained that he would only become aware of an increase when his staff members bring it to his attention, using the rising price of sardines as an example.

“I don’t feel the inflation going on in the country directly. Until my staff tell me sardines have increased in the market, I’ll be like, ‘Really?’ I wouldn’t know because I don’t go to the supermarket. Or when we buy foodstuff, it’s more often than usual,” he said.

Daily Voice reports Nigeria’s headline inflation rate dropped slightly to 15.39 per cent in August 2026, showing a 0.04 percentage point decline from the 15.43 per cent recorded in July.

The latest figure was contained in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) report released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

According to the NBS, the August inflation rate was also significantly lower than the 23.14 per cent recorded in August 2025.

The statistics agency said the month-on-month inflation rate also slowed in August, falling to 0.71 per cent from 1.57 per cent in July.

The Yoruba-language actor shared footage of the accident and thanked God for sparing his life.

The accident reportedly occurred around the Cornerstone City billboard area along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ibadan. However, details about what caused the crash and whether anyone else was involved have not been disclosed.

In a message accompanying the video, Agbor expressed gratitude for surviving the incident.

“As I was saying, thank God Almighty I made it out of this. Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ,” he wrote.

His post prompted an outpouring of relief and prayers from fellow actors and colleagues, who took to the comments to thank God for his survival.
