Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Petitions US, UK, Foreign Embassies

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has petitioned some foreign embassies in Nigeria over his continued detention.
Kanu urged the international bodies to prevail on Nigeria to uphold constitutional supremacy and prevent “stare decisis and rule of law” in his trial.
The petition was addressed to the following: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, European Union, ECOWAS Court, Kenya, South Africa, Norway, Denmark, Japan, Union, Netherlands, Sweden, Amnesty International, Red Cross, African Brazil, Israel, Finland, and Austria.
The petition, signed by IPOB’s Special Counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, on behalf of Kanu, reads partly: “By this letter, I respectfully implore your urgent intervention to compel the Nigerian government to adhere to its own laws, respect stare decisis, and uphold the constitutional supremacy enshrined in the 1999 Constitution.
“The Supreme Court’s lawlessness, compounded by the Court of Appeal’s illegal stay of execution, undermines the rule of law, and I seek your assistance to restore justice.
“Prayer for Relief, I respectfully request Urgent Intervention: Demanding that Nigeria comply with Abacha v. State and Ejiofor v. FRN by enforcing the Court of Appeal’s discharge retroactively to October 13, 2022, nullifying my arbitrary detention, declaring the October 28, 2022 stay illegal, and securing my immediate release.
“Condemning Judicial Lawlessness: Declare the Supreme Court’s reversal and the Court of Appeal’s stay violations of stare decisis, constitutional supremacy, and ICCPR/ECHR protections.
“Holding the UK Accountable: Invoke R (Evans) to compel emergency diplomatic action, including Magnitsky sanctions against complicit Nigerian officials.
Escalate Internationally: Support referral to the ECOWAS Court, African Court, or ICC if Nigeria refuses compliance.
“The Supreme Court’s December 15, 2023 reversal, compounded by the Court of Appeal’s illegal stay of execution on October 28, 2022, represents a systemic collapse of the rule of law in Nigeria. My 14-month arbitrary detention, enabled by UK inaction, exposes discriminatory neglect and judicial lawlessness.
“Your urgent intervention is critical to halt my persecution, uphold constitutional governance, and prevent my possible death in custody.”

What Dangote Should Do For Phyna’s Late Sister’s Children – Media Personality Saidaboj Reveals

Media personality Saidaboj has called on the Dangote Group to take responsibility for the late Ruth’s children (sister of BBNaija star Phyna) by funding their education and supporting them until they secure employment.
She insists this should be the company’s obligation and the most genuine way of apologizing.
Controversial media personality, Saidaboj, has added his voice to the ongoing debate surrounding the tragic death of Ruth, the sister of Big Brother Naija winner Phyna.

Phyna late sister
In a recent statement, Saidaboj called on the Dangote Group to go beyond offering condolences and instead take full responsibility by sponsoring the late Ruth’s children until they secure stable employment in the future. According to him, this would be the company’s most genuine way of apologizing and showing accountability.
“The true way to say sorry is not just in words, but in action. Dangote Group should ensure Ruth’s children are trained, educated, and supported until they get good jobs. That is the real obligation,” Saidaboj emphasized.
Her comments have since sparked mixed reactions on social media. While some Nigerians agreed that corporate organizations should prioritize corporate social responsibility in cases where negligence or controversy may be implied, others argued that placing the entire burden on Dangote Group may be excessive.

“Kingship Will Become A Political Office, Rulers Will Be Replaced In Their Lifetime” – Primate Ayodele

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has revealed that he foresees that kingship will become more of a political office rather than a traditional office in Nigeria.
In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele stated that traditional rulers will be replaced in their lifetime, unlike the normal procedure, which requires that a king dies before the emergence of another.
He made it known that traditional stools will be disrespected and reduced to nothing because of politics, stating that many of the rulers will be taken for granted, while the government will start looking down on them.
“They will be relegated because of politics, they will be forced to be into politics, or they will lose relevance. There will be a time when a traditional ruler will not have to die before another one emerges, the stools will be politicized because they won’t bother to consult oracles, it will become a political office.”
“Some prominent kings, including Emirs, Obis, Obas, Ezes, will be reduced to nothing because their local government will start controlling them. Some of them will be taken for granted, and the government will start looking down on them.”
The prophet explained that traditional rulers will be imprisoned and arrested in Nigeria, stating that respect for them will drastically decrease. He made it known that they will be relegated because of politics.
“There will be so much politics that will come into the stool regardless of the class, and I see them losing relevance. In Nigeria, some kings will be arrested and imprisoned; I am seeing bad days ahead for traditional rulers.”
“The honour and respect given to rulers will drastically reduce. I see a kind of reform by the government to seriously checkmate the traditional rulers.”
