Sunday Igboho Reveals Who Leaked Cat Secret To Security During House Invasion

Yoruba Nation agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has narrated how security operatives invaded his Ibadan residence

Igboho alleged that the attack was carried out with the intent to take his life.

He opened up on the DSS invasion during a visit to the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, at his palace in Ondo State

As reported by Nigerian Tribune, he stated this while speaking during a visit to the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, at his palace in Ondo State.

“When my house was invaded, they wanted to kill me, but failed. Some said my intestines were shattered, others said my leg was broken, but there was nothing of such. They fired guns at me very well, but the prayers of you, my fathers, on me were answered.”

According to Igboho, his so-called ‘trusted’ friend had told the agents not to let the cat escape, which led to the security operatives killing the animal.

“When I opened the door of my room for them, they saw my cat on the bed. One of my friends, whom I entrusted with a secret, had told them not to let the cat go. So they killed the cat and wrapped it in clothes like a corpse. They destroyed everything in the house and killed one of my brothers alongside one other person, and they left.”

Recall that Igboho disclosed that he was still on the wanted list of the federal government.

The Yoruba Nation activist commented while reacting to the claim of Naja’atu Mohammed, a former director in President Bola Tinubu’s Presidential Campaign Council.

Naja’atu, who had now dumped Tinubu for ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar, had tackled Tinubu that Igboho was walking freely while Nnamdi Kanu faced court cases for secessionist advocacy.

Wicked, Unpatriotic! – Opposition Party Blast Tinubu As Trump Threatens War

The Labour Party (LP) has accused President Bola Tinubu of hypocrisy and denial over targeted attacks on Christians

The interim National Publicity Secretary, Tony Akeni, pointed out that while Goodluck Jonathan was President, Tinubu never hesitated to call him out over the killings perpetrated by Boko Haram.

He stated this during an interview with Punch while reacting to President Donald Trump’s public threat to use military force over the alleged killings of Christians in Nigeria

The U.S. President, in a fiery post on his Truth Social platform, declared that Nigeria had been designated a “Country of Particular Concern” and directed his Department of War to “prepare for possible action” if the killings continued.

Reacting, Akeni said, “Eleven years ago, before Bola Tinubu railroaded the system to declare him President, he tweeted in 2014 that the killing of Christian worshippers was condemnable and questioned Jonathan’s competence.

“At that time, about 11,000 Christians had been killed by Boko Haram in four years. Another 6,500 died between 2010 and 2015. Under Tinubu, that figure has skyrocketed to over 14,000 within two years, nearly double the PDP-era rate.”

Akeni described Tinubu’s dismissal of targeted Christian killings as “wicked, godless, and unpatriotic,” and commended Trump and other U.S. officials for their “courage and conviction.”

He also urged the U.S. to extend protection to liberal Muslim communities that have stood against extremism.

“They have shown that a united Nigeria, irrespective of religion or politics, is possible if we have good leaders,” he said.

President Tinubu, in a statement posted on X, rejected Trump’s classification of Nigeria as religiously intolerant, insisting that the country remains committed to constitutional guarantees of religious freedom.

Founder and General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi, has reacted to the alleged Christian Genocide in Nigeria. This coming amid threat by the United States (US) President Donald Trump called Nigeria “that now disgraced country”

Donald Trump, the president of the United States, has ordered the Defense Department to prepare for potential military action to completely “wipe out the Islamic terrorists” who are committing “horrible atrocities” against Christians in Nigeria if the government “continues to allow the killing of Christians.”

Kumuyi dismissed reports of any ongoing Christian genocide in Nigeria, calling such claims a Western propaganda tool aimed at destabilizing the country.

Speaking during a press briefing in Lagos, Kumuyi said that some foreign powers, including the United States, are using religion as a cover to interfere in Nigeria’s affairs and exploit its vast natural resources.

“There is no Christian genocide happening in Nigeria,” Kumuyi stated firmly. “These stories are being sponsored by people who want to divide our nation and give America an excuse to invade and take what belongs to us.”

The respected cleric challenged anyone making such claims to produce verifiable evidence of mass killings targeted at Christians in the country.

“Show me one Christian genocide happening in Nigeria,” he said. “If you can, I will step down as a pastor today.”
