Pro-Tompolo Group Pledges 10M Votes For Tinubu In 2027

As Nigerians observe June 12 Democracy Day, the Oduduwa Frontiers, a civil society organization, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for what it described as significant strides in economic reform, national security, and institutional stability.

In a statement released Thursday by its National President, Kolawale Adediji Kazeem, the group said Democracy Day not only serves as a reminder of Nigeria’s return to democratic rule but also provides an opportunity to evaluate the country’s development under the current leadership.

Kazeem applauded the administration’s resolve in addressing longstanding challenges through bold policy measures aimed at fostering sustainable growth.

He said: “This day not only marks the significance of our democratic journey but also offers an opportunity to reflect on the transformative progress achieved in the past two years in economic reform, security advancement, and overall stability.

“In the face of numerous challenges, the Tinubu administration has embarked on a series of ambitious economic reforms aimed at revitalizing our economy and fostering sustainable growth. The introduction of the economic diversification strategy has been pivotal in reducing Nigeria’s over-reliance on oil revenues.”

According to the group, efforts to boost agriculture, support SMEs, and promote innovation have contributed to job creation and economic resilience.

“The administration’s commitment to enhancing agricultural productivity, promoting technology-driven enterprises, and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) has led to increased job creation and economic resilience.

“Furthermore, the government’s focus on infrastructural development, particularly in transportation and energy, has laid a solid foundation for future growth. The ongoing construction of new roads, railways, and power plants is not merely an investment in infrastructure but a commitment to ensuring that every Nigerian has access to the resources necessary for a dignified life,” Kazeem stated.

Kazeem also pointed to increased collaboration between government and private investors as a key driver of foreign investment, calling Nigeria an emerging market with considerable promise.

He further praised the administration’s security policies, noting a comprehensive strategy aimed at addressing insurgency and other internal threats.

“The safety and security of our citizens remain paramount in the pursuit of national development. Recognizing the multifaceted nature of security challenges, President Tinubu’s administration has taken a holistic approach to enhancing national security.

“Through strategic partnerships with local communities, the establishment of new security frameworks, and the reinforcement of our military capabilities, the government has made significant strides in combating insurgency, banditry, and other forms of violence.”

Emphasizing efforts such as community policing and border security, Kazeem said these initiatives have led to reduced crime in many parts of the country.

“The introduction of community policing initiatives has empowered local populations to take an active role in ensuring their safety, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility. As a result, we have witnessed a tangible reduction in crime rates in several regions, allowing citizens to go about their daily lives with greater confidence and peace of mind.

“The administration’s unwavering commitment to securing our borders has also played a crucial role in curbing illegal activities and enhancing national stability,” he said.

The group emphasized that political stability remains essential for democratic growth, and credited the Tinubu government with encouraging inclusive governance and strengthening the rule of law.

“Stability is the bedrock of any thriving democracy, and under President Tinubu’s leadership, Nigeria has experienced a renewed sense of political and social stability. The administration’s commitment to inclusivity and dialogue has fostered an environment where diverse voices are heard and respected.

“Moreover, the government’s efforts to strengthen democratic institutions have reinforced the rule of law and accountability. The ongoing judicial reforms aim to ensure that justice is accessible to all, thereby enhancing public trust in our legal system.”

As the nation reflects on the significance of Democracy Day, the Oduduwa Frontiers called on all citizens to actively support the country’s democratic journey and the administration’s vision for a better Nigeria.

“As we celebrate this Democracy Day, it is imperative to recognize that the progress we have made is a collective effort, requiring the participation of every Nigerian to uphold the values of democracy.”
“On this June 12, let us celebrate not only our democratic heritage but also the promise of a brighter future under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Together, we can continue to forge a path towards a Nigeria that is economically robust, secure, and stable, a nation that truly embodies the aspirations of its people,” the group said.

Niger Poised As Decentralized Electricity Model Under Tinubu's Act – Santuraki

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has cautioned members of opposition parties under the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) investigation to stop blackmailing President Bola Tinubu and focus on proving their innocence.

Oyintiloye, a member of the defunct APC Presidential Campaign Council, said this while speaking with newsmen on Sunday in Osogbo.

He said that the investigations being carried out by the anti-graft agency on some members of the opposition parties, based on petitions against them, were purely a constitutional matter and in line with international best practices.

Oyintiloye, a former lawmaker said that being a member of the opposition parties should not be seen as immunity against investigation into any alleged financial infractions whenever there were genuine reasons for it.

According to him, members of the ruling party are also being investigated by the EFCC whenever petitions alleging financial infractions are raised against them.

Oyintiloye said that the EFCC has a statutory mandate to investigate financial infractions involving public office holders across party lines without bias or favouritism.

The APC chieftain said that neither Tinubu nor the anti-graft agency would be swayed by unfounded allegations of witch-hunting but would rather continue to do what is right and just for the country.

“The EFCC has a mandate to investigate financial infractions against anyone, irrespective of political affiliations.

“Linking the President to the investigation of alleged financial infractions by opposition members in the name of politics is totally wrong.

“Whether you are a member of the ruling party or opposition, you are not immune to financial investigation.

“I want to caution members of the opposition parties to stop politicising what the EFCC is doing and prove their innocence, if any.

“President Tinubu is a man of honour and integrity, and he will not compromise his ideals in the name of politics. So, it is no longer business as usual,” he said.

According to him, there is no room for graft under the Tinubu administration

Tinubu’s Government Lacks Effective Communication Strategy  - Babangida

Nigeria, Benin Sign Integration Pact

Former Governor of Niger State, Dr. Babangida Aliyu, has said that the administration of President Bola Tinubu is performing well but lacks an effective communication strategy to relay its achievements to Nigerians.

Aliyu made the statement on the Thursday edition of Arise Television’s ‘The Morning Show’, while reacting to the outcome of a recent public accountability session held in Kaduna.

Aliyu, reflecting on the discussions at the Kaduna Forum, said the government is facing public dissatisfaction not because it hasn’t delivered, but because it is failing to tell its own story effectively.

The ex-governor said it is proper for political leaders in the North to make demands from Tinubu’s administration since the bulk of the votes that took power came from the region.

“Let the people understand what is happening on the ground. If by what we say that 63/64 percent of the vote came from the north, it is only logical that the north will be expecting so much from the government.

“But from what we have seen so far is that the government is doing well but they do not know how to communicate very well,” he said.
