Speaking at a public event in Port Harcourt, he urged supporters to remain patient, emphasizing that the crisis would strengthen the state’s resilience.

Meanwhile, Sole Administrator Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (retd) is prioritizing the completion of key infrastructure projects before the emergency period expires. During an inspection of the Rivers State House of Assembly Complex, Ibas pressed contractors to adhere to timelines, stressing the need for a functional legislative arm.

The N1.48 trillion 2025 budget, defended by Ibas before the House of Representatives, allocates N324.5 billion for infrastructure, N55 billion for hospital expansion, and N117 billion for pensions and employee benefits, anticipating Fubara’s return.

Fubara’s camp has welcomed the peace deal brokered by President Tinubu with former Governor Nyesom Wike, signaling an end to their prolonged rift.

However, protests by Fubara’s supporters and civil society groups continue, with some challenging Ibas’s authority to spend state funds without an approved budget.

A lawsuit filed by former lawmaker Farah Dagogo contests the emergency rule’s legality, with a court hearing set for May 26, 2025.

“I don’t pray for my prophecies to come to pass.”

He emphasized that prophecy is often misunderstood. “Warnings—prophecy is not meant to threaten anyone. Some interpret it as a threat, believing that what I’m saying is doom,” he explained.

To illustrate his point, Ayodele provided an example: “When someone says that tomorrow at ten o’clock, if you don’t pray very well, this will happen—that is not doom; that is a warning.” For him, prophecy functions like an alarm bell, signaling a need to pray and take action before trouble arises.

Ayodele also made it clear that his messages stem from love and divine instruction, not from a desire to instill fear. “Those that God loves, He warns against impending danger,” he said, urging his listeners to perceive his words as guidance rather than threats.

In closing, Ayodele reiterated that he does not wish to see tragedy unfold. “I want to tell you this: just listen to me. I don’t make negative prophecies. All my prophecies are meant to warn you. And I don’t pray for them to come to pass,” he concluded.

His remarks are already generating online discussions, with many debating whether prophecy should be viewed as a warning or as a set prediction of the future.uld be viewed as a warning or as a set prediction of the future.
